Marlborough is a beautiful setting for lunch and many of our local vineyards have restaurants that provide a high standard of food and service. All place emphasis on using fresh, locally sourced food, served of course with matching wines.
A beautiful venue that’s great for families, this winery features a large outside grassy area with games overlooked by the seating area. In the winter, the big indoor fireplace provides a cosy atmosphere with plenty of good tables.

Named after the trees that line the entranceway, Allan Scott’s Twelve Trees restaurant boasts immaculate gardens with fountains and a giant chess board.

We stayed 2 nights in a large group, staying in 2 of the three bedroom lodges. The views over the vineyards to the mountains were lovely and the rooms very comfortable, clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we barbecued both nights, feeding 12 with ease. Mike the manager...

My family had 4 days in Vintners retreat, and we enjoyed a really relaxing stay. Lovely accommodation, enjoyed the pool, the fibre internet was fast and kept the kids' iPads happy, and nice and centrally located to the wineries.
