Tennis…
The Tennis Court is available for guest use year round. There is no need to book, games are played on a first come first serve basis.

Racquets and balls are provided free of charge, or you are welcome to bring your bring your own equipment.

Garden croquet…
Break out the cucumber sandwiches! Set up a game on the communal lawn and while away a sunny afternoon. Croquet set and rules are provided. Finish the round with a fruity glass of Pimms under a shady tree…

Boules…
Bring a little French flair to your visit with this classic game. Play with two, four or six people in teams or compete as individuals in casual play. Keep with tradition and toss a coin to decide who plays first! Boules sets and game rules are provided.

Explore Marlborough by bike…
A great way to see Marlborough, bikes for hire are available at Vintners Retreat. Explore at your leisure or join a bike tour. Cycle helmets, local knowledge and maps are provided.

There are many great cycle routes in the area, including the unsealed route along the Wairau River bank. The nearby village of Renwick has a cycleway and the Wither Hills Farm Park has mountain bike tracks for off-road riding.

In March every year, Marlborough hosts the fantastic Forrest Estate Grape Ride – 101km through stunning scenery from Renwick to Picton and back again via the Queen Charlotte Drive.
