Wairau River

Sit on the pretty terrace overlooking the vines with the mountains beyond and drink in the view - along with a glass or two of luscious, refreshing Wairau River wine. The restaurant is great for a family lunch with a grass area for kids to run around, balls and games provided.

Le Brun's No1 Family Estate is perfect for a midday cellar door visit, their vibrant and delicious sparkling wines making the ideal palette cleansing stop! Production is focused on limited edition Methode Traditionelle wines.

Mahi

3 minute walk from Vintners Retreat

The cellar door and winery is nestled up against a stone cliff, with the barrel hall actually burrowed within the rock. All the single-vineyard fruit is hand-picked. Try the intensely coloured Pinot Noirs or the complex Alchemy Chardonnay. These are wines to linger over.

Drylands

7 minute drive from Vintners Retreat

Home Block, the 33 acre vineyard at Drylands wines was one of Marlborough’s first wine grape vine plantings. Now considered one of New Zealand’s most innovative and advanced wineries, Drylands produce a particularly rich and zesty Sauvignon Blanc.
